I am glad I grew them on pallets. Makes it easy to drag them to where I can set the tripod up.
Both kins I am considering have slowed to 1/4 inch per day. The field kin is half orange and growing very little. I think she is 50 days old 60 days would be reasonable could maybe get one more inch out of her... Weather continues to be highly variable hot for a few days and a full day of drizzle yet again. Seeing some powdery mildew. The tomato I thought would be big did not get big it did time its ripening perfectly for the fair though. It was pollinated the first week of July I think and the field kin was an early July pollination also. Maybe field kins and tomatoes are about the same.
