Yes that was a very tricky weak blossom end and huge one at that! Tough to see it happen on such a nice big round tall one. With all these splits this season it reminds me of a past old long time grower and friend...Al Berard from Maine. His handle on bp was...WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR !

Thanks all. Howard, I think that Al was one of the first purple that I met at Topsfield. He was such a nice guy and I remember the tiny pumpkins he'd bring and put on the Giants
