i used triazicde 6 days ago as soon as i noticed squash vine borers flying. a shower started 6 hours later.i have borers again today- is there any harm in repeating a second spray today as i don't know if the first one got washed off?

No problem repeating if the last spray never dried. Watch the forecast but when SVB adults are flying I'll spray in the rain to kill them. Badminton rackets work too!!!

I saw one the other day also.....I walked around my small plants withe a small net to catch her with....also....do you have to catch them to kill them or will they die when coming in contact with triazicide?

Its fine if the moth lays eggs the triazicide will kill them. You don't have to kill the adult moth as they do not do any damage to the plant.

The spray doesn't kill eggs but rather the young borer after it hatches.

Dont forget if your using Triazicide that new growth will be unprotected. Im spraying the ends every couple days right now because the cuke beetles are bad here this year.

I have noticed they have changed the main ingredient in triazicide. Is it any better or worse now with the new mixture?
