I have used a little Azomite in my giant tomatoes in the past.

I am curious how much you put down over 1000 sq feet if you have used it in the past?

I use 10 lbs. in 1200sq/ft cause the bag is 40lbs. So you get 4 patches a bag but 10lbs. Is recommended for 1000sq/ft. I add it after soil test and balance, not before.
