Unfortunately, they are hard to deal with outside of using harsh pesticides. I have had good luck dusting my vine tips with diatomaceous earth to prevent them from biting the leaves and spreading disease. Also, after pollination, remove any male flowers before they open up. They are like a beacon for cucumber beetles. |
