ive got several long gourds set (i think) should i cut the ends of the vines off and bruy them in air or just let them grow??

Cloud: I've been cutting mine off about 12 to 16" past the fruit. They grow almost as bad as A.G. you'll have a real mess if you don't keep up with them.

I lost all of my gourds. My mailman is growing them and is going to give me some.
There must be a secret to growing them here in this heat. Because I can grow just about everything except them.
What is the secret to gourd growing?
