The hormone pumpkin suffered some more stem split damage following yesterdays all day rain but Toad looks great minus a little sapping where pumpkin leaf was removed. Yes I am losing growth on Toad with the hormone pumpkin, but no scary backside growth cracks. We shall name the hormone pumpkin, ?... Scapegoat . Toad's crown and 5' of main were removed Saturday, but last night's measurements show 2" gain since Thursday @ 8lbs/day. Slow and steady finishes the race. Side to side 11'6" , cc 18'1", and front to back finally got another inch.
