This is Toad's clubroot crown, and on the right side is 2' of mush. About 5' of main and 4 sides gone. Pipe off crown only 1 1/2" however it gradually gets bigger to 3" at pumpkin 20' out. This issue has festered for weeks but gains are steady so we decided to ride it out but with goals met, it was time to cut the rotted cord. Running on 16 sidevines. Doesn't look like, or seem to me that the crown was doing anything?
Club root crowns suck but don't seem to affect the size of the pumpkin? Nor does the size of the crown, this thing's puny? Crown seems to just get you started. IMO, and "clubroot bad" is now a wives tale for me.
