The deed is done. Harvested the pumpkin yesterday in an attempt to save it from the disease spreading rapidly through the plant. Cut out a large section of the plant as well hoping to keep it alive, maybe I can still pollinate a secondary or tertiary for a porch pumpkin. Time will tell if any of the plant will survive. Missouri state fair is next week, if things work out maybe I'll take it up. It was the biggest pumpkin I've had at this point in the season, and really had some potential. At least it didn't split.
