This pumpkin will be curling the blossom end under soon, so hopefully it holds together. The shape of the pumpkin to this point is very round, but it is not gaining much height. The bright yellow color indicates that this should be an orange pumpkin if it makes it through the full duration of the growing season.

Growing your own seed is always interesting to see what characteristics come through, and at least to this point, plant health and a nice orange color to a pumpkin with a consistent growth rate is all I can ask for.

The plant continues to produce more than expected in the form of tertiary growth, which is continually being removed to help direct some of that energy to the pumpkin;-)
