This is a pic of my basic pollination set up. I use a sock to keep the bees away from the blossom. I will remove the sock at the end of the day tomorrow. The blossom will be removed on day 5. I am not using an ethylene product this year, so I am leaving the blossom on a couple extra days. The decaying blossom will produce ethylene naturally, which hopefully will entice the fruit into a long cell division stage. I use a hospital bracelet to notate the cross information. And it all sits underneath the shade of a 4 foot plastic folding table until it is moved onto a growing platform around day ten. Here we go!
