They're starting to come up! I planted them in Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix with Mykos. The 2019 Mathiowetz seemed like it had a thinner shell, so it germinated really quickly.

The Mathiowetz is looking healthy and strong to me. The others are still unfolding, but is the yellow on the Trombley normal?
I'm also adding a few more amendments to my 150 ft patch today and installing heating cables. I may keep a second plant on the side of my house, but I might not have enough time to really care for both or fully prepare the ground there. Parts of it are fairly well-decomposed sod that's been covered in wood chips for a year, and I can supplement with a few cubic yards of raised-bed planting soil I already have. At a minimum, it could be fun to see how many 100 lb carving pumpkins I could get from one plant. However, at most I will only keep 2 plants.

Beautiful spring day today! These cherry blossoms are the best part of my yard. My small patch is about ready for a post-amendment soil test. I'm working on a MakerPipe/conduit greenhouse, but in the meantime I've been keeping the patch covered with plastic anytime it's not a nice sunny day to hold some heat.

16 days after soak. They've mostly been in the 70-75°F range for both air and soil, dipping to around 65°F overnight. I lowered the lights a couple days ago, but I think it may have been a bit too much for them, so I raised them back up. I can only choose one plant to move forward with. I'm leaning toward the 2019 Mathiowetz right now, but I'm still waiting to see how the others look over the next few days. Open to suggestions. Good luck, everyone!
