            | big moon | Bethlehem CT | Thanks guys.  I am a believer in growing your own seeds.  Not sure why, but they always do best for me!  Probably because I got in a tit for tat with Joze about seeds evolving to cope with local conditions.  (I argued against it) I said that there is no way a seed can adapt in a few generations.             | Little Ketchup | Grittyville, WA | I dont know but local tomato seeds did better for me this year...  I tried about half and half.  
 I ran the stats on pumpkins and this did not hold true for pumpkins.  For pumpkins, it was statistically better to use someone else's seed, oddly enough!
