            | Team Wexler | Lexington, Ky | I'm tired of looking at the long gourds I grew this year so now I'm interested in harvesting the seeds. How do I go about it? Should I continue to let the gourds dry or should I bust it open and go after them?

            | duff | Topsfield, Ma. | They can be as tough to harvest a they are to germinate...LOL! All of the seeds are in the lower or bottom 1/3 of the gord. I break off 1 foot sections, score the sides with a utility knife 4x and squeeeze it till it breaks in sections and squeeze the seeds out of the pulp...they hide really well! Good luck!
