            | Frank and Tina | South East | After a storm, one and only plant came loose and the net on wich it grows slid down a bit,,,the gourd was still on,,and had plenty room to grow. But ofcourse i had to try to put the net back up lifting the gourd and.....yep,,it fell off,,,dum dummer dumst. the bright part of it all. I grew my first long gourd plant and had a blast. It made me wont more,,,and i will grow again next year,,no doubt about it. Next time better prepared,,a trellis instead of a net against a barn..and some prepped soil.
My first long gourd ever is now the 57.5 Finders (98 gipe x self) No world record but i,m happy.
Good luck to the rest of you,,,Grow em Looooooong!!

This winter you will find that lg growers share their seeds like pumpkin growers. The 98 gipe is also a very good seed.
