            | Bushwacker | Central Connecticut | At a very unexpected location, about 10 feet out at the turn of the arbor, 5 females appeared.  I would not have expected them and missed an opportunity to pollinate them.  I hope the moths did their job.
 these female seemed to coinside with a full moon...

            | duff | Topsfield, Ma. | A good observation Bushwacker, though I don't know if the trigger was the full moon or colder night temps or something entirely different. Spent the entire summmer watching for females to pollinate and all of a sudden they were everywhere. Time will tell now if there were some moths or other pollinators out there, cuz sure as hell I wasn't prepared for them...LOL! | 8/24/2008 7:27:08 PM |
