            | gwarren | Chapel Hill, NC | How big of a problem are mice normally? I haven't had any problems so far but just wondering if it would be prudent to lay a few sticky traps around the patch. | 8/21/2016 6:56:44 PM |

            | Holloway | Bowdon, GA | They get bad this time of year if you use landscaping cloth. Best way to get rid of them is castor oil pellets. Just broadcast them around your plant before a rain and the mice run. | 8/21/2016 10:12:51 PM |

            | ESheel31(team sLamMer) | Eastern Shore of VA | Would be a good idea.Try spreading some castor oil(mole and vole deterrent)
 or moth balls.

            | gwarren | Chapel Hill, NC | Oh sorry I meant do the castor oil granules hurt the vines any? | 8/22/2016 9:02:41 PM |

            | Holloway | Bowdon, GA | I haven't noticed any problems. I usually put them around the stump, vine going to the melon, and the perimeter. Been doing this for years. | 8/22/2016 10:20:40 PM |

            | BiddyGoat | Aurora | I sprinkle Milorganite around mine and the mice issue does seem to be eliminated.
