               hi i was wondering if someone could tell me if watermelons grow tap-roots like pumpkins and do you bury the vine like pumpkins. thanks

               Yes they get tap roots. No i don't bury as they will rot. They take longer to root, unless it rains alot, then they seem to root quicker.
