If not, that's okay, but I think it may have been unnoticed and support is here for ya---maybe even (not MY) advice; There have been unbelievable turnarounds this year...

The pain and sorrow is real. It takes a while to recover from that kind of blow. Everyone who has ever lost a pumpkin feels your pain Medhi.

Thank you guys, much appreciated. This is exactly what I really like in our community, the support between growers across the world. The pain of the Patons losing 5 of theirs 6 pumpkins is surely awful. I know now what growers feel when losing a huge pumpkin. Thanks à lot guys. Keep'em growing big ! Good luck to all for the final round.

Not too many growers can say they lost one that had a chance at a WR. That's a whole different level of disappointment. So sorry Mehdi.

I've lost my share of pumpkins and pushing the way we do its just part of growing. So sorry to hear this Mehdi, I feel the pain all the way in California.:(
You know the drill and have been doing this long enough to know whats next.
And you bring up the Patons,, man losing just about every fruit. I don't know how long it would take to put a smile on my face after that. People say, " Oh it's just a pumpkin " but like Kevin said above,,, the pain is real,, especially when it's a good one.
Hang tough Mehdi.

I was rooting for you Mehdi. It would have been nice to see the world record end up in France. Anyway, you've shown yourself to be one of the top growers in the World. Best wishes to your future.
