I'm in New England, so there's about 3 weeks left before the temp goes below 55F. There's one fruit growing, but newest leaves on the vine have a lime green color. They didn't change, they grew that way. Why would this be happening?

Guess: Low transpiration rate, exacerbating low calcium, magnesium, boron, nitrogen, etc? Basically its not summer anymore. It will be difficult to reverse this/ to get good growth. When you have to put a coat on, they arent happy either.

Its hard to say and could be any number of things. I've grown pumpkins in pots before and when the roots run out of area to grow and the plant isn't getting enough nutrients I've had this look before.
Also, this time of year weird things can happen.

Yes, but I would do a quick tissue sample then you would know exactly what the plant needs.
It takes less then a week and doesn't cost much. Its nice knowing what your plant is taking up and what it may need or have to much of. I do this every 14 days during the season to stay on top of what the pumpkin needs.

Andrej,

Could be an Iron deficiency or many other things, but I think Gritty's right. Not enough sun, reduced transporation/chlorophyll production. The plant simply cant pull the nutrients out of the ground anymore. It's to late in the season to expect anything to grow well. Frankly, base on the date I would say those leaves look pretty darn good!

It is hard for plants to get certain nutrients like N in cold soil.
