Be sure to coat them lightly in salt first, the thin shelled ones anyhow, you'll break a tooth on the thick shelled ones. Now we know why the old Bubba was missing some teeth :)

i use a hair dryer on very low keep hand in with seeds as to help judge if the temps too hot

I like to spin them in the blender in Muratic acid to clean the shells first.

I realize this is a joke post but in case anyone is actually wondering. I use my wife's food dehydrator. It has a low setting of 90 degrees. basically it has a bunch of trays that you can spread the seeds out on and then it circulates warm air all around them. It drys them out really quickly and all of the test germs that I have done after wards have been successful so I believe it is completely safe for the seeds.

Why dry them? You can just leave them in the pumpkin and plant the entire pumpkin next season.

Just Freeze the pumpkin & no need to grow another one. Andrew Vial did it with a watermelon. He grew 2 -341.S ?? Im not buying it. He froze the first one ;)
