I heard back in 1972 Half Moon Bay & Circleville had a contest who could grow the biggest pumpkin & claim to be the Pumpkin capital of the US maybe even the world.Half Moon Bay won by 1 pound the story was told.174 pound pumpkin that year. Look how far we have come. Congrats Bob & Jo !
