Thanks to everyone for thier kind words, It is appreciated! Yeah the 2,405 was a heck of a ride. I have always grown for Orange in the past and never thought this was possible 10 years ago based on how ugly most of the giant pumpkins where back then. But as you can see by that top 3 at Barnesville BIG BEAUTIFUL & ORANGE is not only possible now it can become the norm. To Grow a 2,400 pound pumpkin with a great shape, great color, and shiny smooth skin I might as well hang up my garden hoe because it's going to be awful hard for me to top this fruit. Thanks again to everyone and the Barnesville weighoff officials for hosting such a nice weighoff.
If anyone is trying to reach me and I don't respond I assure you I am not ignoring you I just don't get on Here to often.
