I see a lot of Growers are growing on scales or will be next year. I plan on being one that is. What is a good scale to buy? Are there any I should avoid. I don't want to break the bank. Suggestions appreciated.

Check Craigs List in your area. You'll save a bunch getting a used one.

Josh I see there is one in Franklin Indiana about 200 miles from you, that says it was hardly used for $300 and another one in Cynthiana Kentucky about 175 miles from you for $850 that is new. Look on Facebook Marketplace under pallet scales as Garwolf had mention. If you have a problem getting info let me know and maybe I can get the contact info for you.

I was able to snag a platform off of Craigslist for $50 and purchased load cells and indicator from A&A scales. Working well so far.
