That is a lot of seeds. When do you need them by? I could grow you a few plants with controlled genetics and have seeds for you by the end of September

2500 seeds sounded like alot to me....it would take alot of pumpkins to get that many. And how many growers could you get to grow one.
I did a bit of research...

I am guessing he would like seeds from 2500 pound pumpkins. That makes more sense.

Ditto what Engel said. I should have a lot of seeds come November, but 2500 would be too many for me to give away. The labor alone of harvesting that many seeds is substantial. You'd have to pay me to do it. Only thing you could do is order from a seed company, as you suggested when we talked in the chat room, but that would be expensive, and the genetics would be terrible. Those AGs probably wouldn't even be considered AGs by the standards that we have today. The genetics have moved far past that, and seed sellers don't care to revitalize their stock, even though it would be quite easy.

Another problem is the cost of getting phytosanitary certification of all the seeds in order to get them through customs. Seed companies know everything to do that.

$220, free shipping?, maybe an actual drop-ship, lol? 1660 per pound X 2 pounds = plenny o' seeds and if they look like the pics and dedicated growers are in on it somewhere, then, (BIG?) pumpkins for everyone! i'm outta here, though - gotta pick out my OWN seeds very soon!
