I just checked out PlummyP's diary entry and noticed that gorgeous, perfectly shaped pumpkin pictured on the 1533.5 Rea seed package. Has anyone ever grown it? It looks like an awesome cross on paper.

I grew the 1533.5 Rea as my first pumpkin ever grown. I made so many rookie mistakes and my plant was grown in less than 150’ area. It still grew a 730lbs pumpkin and was a perfectly shaped bright orange pumpkin. So I would say yes it has the potential to grow much larger than I did and will definitely be a nice shaped orange pumpkin. She has some amazing orange crosses with great seeds.

My daughter grew it in 2020 and sadly only got a 24th of August pollination otherwise she would have grown a much bigger fruit: https://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/fruitImages.php?PN=584%20Hochstetler%202020%20UOW It is genetically similar to the 1885 Werner so I don't know who wouldn't want to grow it!
