Hello all,

Just wondering how much potential does the 2200 Geddes have. Looking for what it has produced as I have one seed and wondering if it would be worth while to grow. And if anyone has a picture of the 2034 Isabelle grown this year that would help.

You can do a Site Search from this website's Home Page for 2200 Geddes and from what I've seen from even the first three posts/growers, it does do orange - Judging by the genetics therein it should be 'able' to grow whatever size pumpkin you WANT and are able to grow; As i have found, thinking I'll grow the perfect pumpkin carries with it a lot of unexpecteds and with only one shot in your case, I feel for ya! You can also go to http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/index.php
and do the same thing there; I cannot do that from this computer or I'd be more helpful, lol (*_*) PLANT IT!
For a second shot at it, follow all recommendations of/at your previous queries and you'll want a few backups anyway. Uhhh, 'a seedling in the pot is worth two seeds missed at auction', lol---eric g

Here are links to photo's of the 2034 Isabelle and the 2200 Geddes pumpkins. I think the 2200 has tons of potential.

Pumpkinpal2: Thanks! I am sorry I have been posting so much lately it’s just a lot of pressure when you have so many great seeds to choose from and only space for one. I don’t want to be in midseasson regretting the seed I chose, so I am doing the best I can to pick the best one for me.

Also interested in the 2365 Wolf. I am really interested in growing it but since it’s unproven it’s holding me back.

Basically any seed with modern genetics has the capacity to grow 2000+ lbs under the right conditions and the 2200 is no exception. It'd be a fine choice.

(*_*) PLANT IT! I mean - 2200? It must have it 'goin on' for it to be a 2200 to begin with; Otherwise, strive for a 2003 Haist, which grew my new PB of 940.6 - fun to grow and a never-ending will to survive; 2200 just sounds great as well, lol---nice and even---eg
