Subject: Getting seeds into Brazil

Hello BP community. Writing to ask if anyone here has had success getting pumpkin seeds into Brazil? Past experience implies that packages are culled at customs and thrown into the abyss.

Hey Joze, sorry I didn’t see this sooner. Yes, Brazil is one of those countries that doesn’t allow seeds in. If I use official customs, it won’t go. But I recently sent seeds as a business letter, with seeds embedded in cardboard and it worked fine. Cheaper as well.

I’ve been sending seeds this way to foreign countries as well with no issues. Plus it the same postage as a regular letter and the letters get there alot faster than packages.

That I what I do..send as a doument, included document and seeds. It cost $4 and includes tracking with paypal postage.
