As per my diary - any ideas?

The plant is starting to age, but this doesn't look like the normal kind of 'ageing leaf' to me, but I could be wrong? I have a known issue with Phytophthora, just a symptom perhaps?

Yeah that's not aging. It looks like phytophthora to me.

Crap, I’ve got the same thing. Effected areas turn brown and crispy very quickly.

In a nutshell, what is the preventive or cure?

1/2 my plant died in a matter of days.

Well there's exactly 4 weeks to weighoff I will just have to hope the fruit doesn't succumb in that time

My 1911 Urena looks like that too.
Matt DeBacco recommends Aliette, which I have.
Is Etridiazole better for it?

I actually have some Banrot also.
It is thiophanate-methyl & etridiazole.
Anyone have a preference for 1 or the other?

Gritty, that link didn’t work for me.
So last evening I pruned back the vines that were showing the distinctive leaf changes. Then a foliar spray of Aliette.
No obvious new affected leaves this morning.
I gave a drench of Banrot through my driptape.
I would be surprised if I see this again this season, but will keep a sharp eye out for it.
I have my plants on the Indiana drench/spray program for disease & insects.
Maybe that is why the disease has been slow and not very extensive on my plant but I’d rather not have it at all, ha!
