Ian and Stewy, sucks your having the issue, but I have no doubt you will come out OK. I would make a suggestion though, I think you should dial your CO2 into the 6 to700 ppm and only run it for 4 to 5 hrs tops. starting at day break. Your plant looks like mine did 5 years ago when I was starting into using CO2 and I was running too long and too many PPM. And just incase it is the hormone, starving your plants of CO2 certainly will prolong your recovery

Always hoping you guys pull off the WR one year, hard starts sometimes end best. What Eddy said, and don't forget about Duct tape and a little WD40.

These guys have grown twice as many 2k pumpkins as anyone else. If they get this figured out... then watch out!

I guess I don't know what the problem is other than slightly-yellower leaves that were already there 20 days prior and a somewhat-twisty vine that is perhaps unruly and won't lay down? I recently thought to myself about plants growing toward light - what's to keep them from trying to grow UP all the time? Gravity. Anyway, please point out what I'm not seeing; Otherwise, if those leaves were slightly yellow then and are still, somewhat? It may be running with a handicap, but STILL running. THE very best to you---eg

Thanks eddy Kazzy has donated her cucumber plant to experiment with the rooting powder if it’s not the CO2 burners which is unlikely we need to get them back on. We shoot for 1200 ppm because that is what the commercial cucumber chrysanthemum and tomato growers go for. We have a light sensor on our controller which turnes them off at night. Ronnie thinks they will grow out off in in 7days so fingers crossed. We have to keep pushing hard no prizes in this game for sitting on your laurels.

No worries, this will be long forgotten about in October. You guys are dialed in. I don't think my plants have ever looked as good as your plants look in you diary right now. LOL

Stu do you do your readings above or below the canopy??? you can get up to a 300 ppm difference. Under is always higher for me anyway. I never run my co2 for more than 5 hrs. by the time you hit mid day the uptake is almost all done. I am going with 900 below the canopy this year. Right now my main is doing about 14 inches a day and sides are doing 12. and no plant distortion or disfigurement

I know you guys have a high standard but it ain't as bad as you might think. I'd ask myself what are we doing different this time around and stop doing it. It sounds like your soil is spot on so just back off and let the plants do their thing It should auto correct. And if it doesn't you may have a micro nutrient deficiency due to an inbalance of other elements. IMHO.

PS, I've used a product "Super Thrive" with the same active ingredient your using for rooting. Never did see the results the manufacturer claimed but it did no harm either. Just saying.

when you use CO2 with pumpkins, It's different than a small leaf plant. Each leaf on a pumpkin has many different zones for uptake. When you run at a lower CO2 level, you can balance the uptake, When you push your CO2 levels to extreme, your leaves will uptake CO2 at different rates, some parts stop uptake at 700, some won't stop. and will start distorting your growth, Leaves will grow out irregular, you will get areas of the vines that bloat and push growth in non normal ways, from bumps to the inside or outside growing faster than the other side. you can kill them with kindness. I did that with a 1985 Miller back in the beginning. With these extremes, your fruit will also become irregular and mis shaped. so careful because 1/2 a pumpkin leaf has the same area as a full grown cucumber or tomato and that's why those growers get away with that

Great information on CO2 Eddy. Watch Ian/Stewart will grow the biggest pumpkin of their lives!
