Diamond pattern... has grown a pumpkin well over 2k. Mendi almost hit a world record on a reversed pitchfork pattern I believe (tertiaries allowed to grow off the final secondaries). Lastly as far as I know, no top grower has explored growing on a secondary despite that it has been proven to hit 2k. (2106 Schmit.)

I love the pitchfork for my growing area. Beard ( Mike ) and that secondary fruit was quit amazing!!
Makes you think about your pattern each year.
JohnnyB, will we see you this year or will you be headed to Arizona again? Missed you last year on our record breaking year! Jim has forced us all to think about how we grow these things down here with that monster of his!!

I grow in a flower bed, along a wall, through the trees and onto the lawn so its the flag pattern for me. PB 1172
Chris are you losing your memory? I was there and now hold the site record for the long gourd, Also brought a tiny water melon and the wifes pumpkin. My pumpkin sprang a leak late in the season, was taping about 1650. I tried to get it to seal up but no luck.
