I am still waiting on my Evga SOTY lot. I figure another 3 weeks before I consider my lot seized and destroyed by customs.

It is not just seeds coming in from Europe. I have about 20 boxes of seeds that I mailed to European growers in early January that have never been received and appear to have fallen of the tracking radar. I have been told by our P.O. that they likely are sitting in a cargo box somewhere in Europe and may or may not ever be delivered. Seeds that I mailed to Europe pre Jan. made it to their destinations in 1-2 weeks.

Mine were dated on Feb10 and received them in less than 2 weeks.They were untracked.

If seeds were confiscated by customs, you should recieve the bubble with a letter inside stating they were destroyed.

Dear winners of our auction lots,
thank you all for your support by buying seeds in our live and silent auction.
Like every year we packed the auction seeds together with our membership seed packages on the first February weekend. All the seeds were sent during the second week of February from Germany and Belgium.
Some of the seeds were delivered next day, but some took several weeks – even to other European countries.
Unfortunately we have still some bubbles that didn’t arrive yet overseas, especially in the US.
In previous years – under normal circumstances – we sometimes had mailings that took up to six to eight weeks. All over the world there is a very special time at the moment. So we kindly ask you to stay patient.
Of course we cannot guarantee that seeds arrive safely to every place in the world. Especially if there are any import restrictions for seeds in your country, every buyer has to be aware of the risk that these might be sent back or destroyed by your country’s authorities.

Last year I won a lot in the Spain auction. The first set of seeds that Ruben sent me still hasn't come a year later. He sent me a replacement set and I received it 90 days later with a note from US customs saying it was destroyed.

At the moment this year, all the seeds that we have sent from Spain have arrived perfectly. To ensure the shipment of Seeds for the clubs in America, I sent Leonardo 3 envelopes in October, with 40 seeds each envelope, I thought it was necessary to do so to ensure that all the seeds were in the auctions. Leonardo sent some to Canada, which took months to arrive. The ones we sent from the Spanish Auction this year have all arrived, but not many have arrived from US auctions. Steve geddes, he has dozens of seeds lost through customs, according to what he told me. It is a bad year, I recommend for another year to send the seeds on Christmas dates, since customs do not look so much on those dates. bigbuck88, if you want me to send you another 2183 Mendi quickly, I could try an express delivery by dhl, it would take 7 days, but the shipping cost can be 40 $ .. If later you receive the 2183 from EGVGA, you could donate it to GPC for auction Next year, I don't know what you think of the idea.If you want, contact me privately on facebook.
