I apologize to everyone. 2020 has thrown me too many loops. I probably will not be growing giants for many years if ever. That said, i have prize fund collected for the 150 contest that needs to be distributed. Only about 1/3 of the people that said they were interested actually paid the $2 but I will put $100 towards this year and for future years. Steve Connolly has inquired if I would turn control of the contest in the future over to him. I most certainly will.
I have Steve as the leader for this year both by weight and the required diary posts. I know of only two results so far.
Steve Connolly at 717 pounds Michael Lee at 437.5
I apologize again.

Hi Bob Glad to help this year and carry on for next year. This is a fun contest, and challenges a growers skills.

Mark grew a 150 pumpkin, but it appears that he didn't weigh it do to a soft bottom. It was a beautiful orange...wish he would have gotten a weight.
I have attempted to go thru the diaries of the entries received. Splits seems to be the biggest issue this year. I was not given the BP for all the contestants. I could have missed some.
Chris Rodebaugh does show in his diary weighing a 538 pound 150 pumpkin, but i could only find one previous entry in his diary about the contest. The names I listed above made all the required diary entries.
Steve and Brandon, I will compile a list of the entries that I have and send them to you soon. If you wish you can double check the results. It might take a few days for me to get this to you. Unfortunately, spare time is very limited in my life.

No worries. Personally... once again I failed to keep a plant within any exact boundaries & I probably hit 200 ft^2. I wonder if it might be possible to open the competion to watermelons, bushel gourds, and field kins. They would not win against an AG, the point is it would be interesting to show what else can be achieved in a small garden?

We'll probably try again next year with our families...only had one person that actually got a pumpkin...but it weighed in at 60.5#...so, far from being competitive... : )
