Reminder: There's a new master gardener scoring system this season based on points per weight (or length for long gourds).
This new system is designed to be more fair and equitable within and among fruit classes, such that classes with fewer or more growers can be weighted appropriately. The scoring system is as follows:
0.024 points per lb for Atlantic Giant 0.039 points per lb Squash 0.140 points per lb Bushel Gourd 0.160 points per lb Watermelon 0.270 points per in Long Gourd 0.290 points per lb Field Pumpkin 0.390 points per lb Marrow 7.000 points per lb Tomato
As before, scores are determined by adding up a grower’s top 5 scoring classes. A grower must have at least one official entry in at least 5 classes to compete.
More info and a calculator is available in English and metric units, so that master gardener contenders can easily track their own score through the season:

I'll be doing the final tally for the master gardener. That requires combining data from all the classes.
If you are participating in the master gardener competition in the 2020 season, especially if you are entering as a team or a couple (but individuals too), please double check that your grower name in each class is exactly the same.

If you entered under non-identical names please email me with your preferred name (and any alternate names I should look for) to ensure you get counted properly:
