Dont forget september 19th kentucky weigh off at Robert's family farm in Guston KY. I anticipate it to be a great event, there are a few guidelines regarding the weigh off due to covid this year so things will be slightly different.
1. As the growers arrive they will be directed to an unloading area near the scales where the fruit will then be unloaded, measured, and officially weighed. Then loaded back into vehicle and directed to a parking area to where it will be displayed while the other entries go through the same process. The vehicles displaying fruit will be parked to where the other attendees and growers can look and admire the fruit.
2. Masks will be required for the safety of all of the people in attendance.
The Robert's family have been very gracious in providing a venue for one of the best weigh offs in the south. With out them none of this would be possible.
3. We look forward to possibly having a record turn out due to some events being cancelled, so with that being said hope every one that has a fruit can make it and enjoy your time in KY. We sure would love to have you. But we also want to keep safety in mind.
