Hello -
I saw materdoc's post so I thought I would post a quick comment. We will make our final plans at our next directors meeting. These plans will be published just after the meeting in our September newsletter, which will unfortunately overlap with the traditional early weigh off season.
We are currently committed to the weighoff, unless our local and state regualations would prohibit us from having it. We are COMMITTED to making sure that we weigh our members pumpkins, AND maintain the safety of our friends, family, and hosts. I will say that we are impressed by the plans formulated for Freich's Farm and Stillwater. It is very possible that the Ohio Valley will consider a similar format which would be a drive through weighoff to minimize the number of people at a time who are present to keep everyone as safe as possible. Let's plan on this and then pray we can have something more traditional. While inconvenient and unusual, we don't want any negative publicity for our hobby, and would prefer to be a great example for the world.
More details soon,
Best Regards, Nick Harp

Yes Nick, thanks much! Are you requiring pre-registration so you have some idea of how many fruits to expect?
