Things are really in a state of flux with weighoffs due to the pandemic.
The GPC list of weighoffs is not being promptly updated.
Unfortunately this makes it difficult to decide where to take your fruits.
Some folks are doing a good job of notifying people of the status of their weighoff & any special precautions or rules to follow for it.
Many people are not.

Can I make a plea for people involved with weighoffs to make announcements on this board?

I am not involved with this weighoff but, having checked into it, I can inform you that the Oakland Nursery weighoff in Dublin, OH is cancelled.

Colorado

Colorado still has all four weigh offs a go. Theres been some talk that Ft. Collins. is iffy or will use a altered contest to keep with in covid mandates.This Pandemic creates unknowns that we all have to try to get through.

The GPC has reached out to all weigh-off sites months ago and requested they forward to us their Covid Plans. When these are forwarded to us they are PROMPTLY updated. Be Patient! Many sites are still in the process of figuring this out.

Just had our grower Club meeting last night. We are having the Bloomfield Giant Pumpkin Bash September 26th as planned. I will put something together on prize money and site precautions for virus and submit that soon. A lot of extra decision making on planning event this year.

Southern Plains

The 3rd Annual OGPG (Oklahoma) weighoff is still on schedule for Saturday, September 19, in Claremore, OK.

For some reason, we've been provided with even more floor space than last year.

Ohio Valley is still on as far as I know. PA weighoff has been moved to Northern Cambria but date and time remain the same. October 3rd

Washington State has two weigh-offs scheduled so far, September 19th at Christianson's Nursery in Mount Vernon, and October 3rd at Kristoferson Farms on Camano Island, WA.
