What do you guys think. Will there be a new WR in 2020 for giant Pumpkins? I think there is 2800 lbs possible in 2020.

I do think it's possible. It seems many growers are on pace for personal bests. The Pattons look to be having a great season so far. I look for some big ones out of the upper midwest, just based on the weather we've had here in central MN. I'm going to make a guess that Quinn Werner will have the heaviest pumpkin in North America this year.

Some fantastic growers and good weather conditions this season. Would not be surprised to see the record fall once or twice. Agree the Patton boys and several others have the numbers to do it. Wish all my friends well Pap W

Cojoe yes and no Yes for this period of pumpkin history. Now days the record seems to fall almost every year. But there was one giant pumpkin that held the world record for 72 years.

Fat chance for me, lol, but unless it's MY new PB, it'll be hard to learn a new WR # to quote to non-growers - like when it's a new year and you still accidentally write the old year on checks, etc. eg
