Greetings,
Today I received an email from Dag Otnes / Dianne Otnes (the title of the email was, guess what, ... "Greetings!". The whole issue was getting someone to buy an i-tunes gift card (for the dear niece). The conversation was very entertaining, you might be interested, therefore I will add the conversation between me (PK) and this seeming Dianne Otnes (DO). Have fun, but be aware that you should not buy anything for anyone (just saying).

DO: I'm sorry for bothering you with this mail, It's my Niece birthday and I need to get her an iTunes gift card, but I can't do this now because I'm currently out of town. Could you get it from any store around you? I'll refund as soon as I get back. Please let me know if you can handle this. Dianne

DO: I tried purchasing it online but unfortunately no luck with that. Can you try it online on Amazon?

PK: Just guess where you are sending your emails to (because I´m scratching my head as I do not have the slightest clue as to what made you pick my email addy for this task). The whole thing is highly dubious, sorry to say that.

DO: My niece really want the gift card for her birthday. I can't purchase any here please i need you to help me get the gift card online for her. I promise to refund the money back to you as soon as i get back home.

Ive received these emails before, from other places, same question but with a diff reason or person wanting the card. They always start off by saying can you go to your local store and buy, then online happens next and its always amazon.
