Hey guys. I am on day 4 after pollination. The pumpkin is the size of a lemon and the stem has grown has gotten much thicker. The lives have also grown maybe 3x the size they were at pollination. When do you know it took. It is still yellow and shiny. I have heard they can abort at the size of a beach ball. When do you know it’s on? Lol I am just excited and now a eh day I go out I pray it grew. What do you guys normally get for a pollination success rate? 1 in 4 3 of 4? Thanks!

If the nutrients are not too badly off I would say 9 of 10. They want to reproduce. Random problems are the exception, not the rule... Good luck!

It has to be shiny and smooth like a balloon. Lines and wrinkles are a bad sign, as is slow or no growth. You should know within a couple of weeks of pollination.
