To all growers:
We have the green light to plan the Elk Grove weighoff-off! The Festival itself is cancelled. We are working on the specific rules and procedures and will publish those as soon as they are completed. Due to lack of sponsorships the prize money will likely be greatly reduced but at least growers can obtain a certified GPC recognized weight. In this very trying time I hope you will all focus on the great partnership we have established with the CSD. They are doing all they can to assist us in obtaining certified weights and having a productive day. We will certainly keep you informed as we get more details.
