Just a warning to growers. The cucumber beetles are out. I set my squash and melon transplants out Saturday and by Sunday they were swarmed with cucumber beetles. It only takes a few hours of heavy feeding and they can outright kill young plants or even worse spread diseases which could show up later on. |
