Not surprisingly, I am receiving e-mails from some understandably worried SOGPG silent auction winners. Rest assured that your seeds have been shipped but also understand that we have a worldwide pandemic going on right now and it make take who knows how long for your shipment to arrive.
All customs numbers have been checked with the USPS website and all are shown to be in transit. Please note, too, that the USPS cannot track through each country's postal service.
I regret the timing of the shipments relevant to the pandemic, but it is what it is and we wouldn't ever cheat anyone. Please be patient.

The seeds may very well be in the destination country now. No one knows. To my knowledge, the USPS cannot track shipments through other countries. This pandemic is creating all kinds of havoc.

I have provided all those e-mailing me with the customs numbers provided by the USPS and it's all I can do.

However, should the post never arrive, how is that?

Have patience Oliver with this pandemic virus. I haven't received my seeds from the Spain auction in January. They are in US customs. With social distancing, they probably have had to cut back in staff which means longer delays. I checked on mine last week at the post office and was told to expect to wait at least 90 more days if not longer. Flights to Europe have greatly decreased so that it might take additionally longer because of that.

Hey is there any news? Can you still see where the mail is or at least send it back to the shipper? That the cores are at least safe?

Have patience Oliver. This is the risk you take when you get seeds from another country's auction. Most of the time things go through customs no problem. It's different now. It's alot easier getting seeds out of the US than into the US. I am not check again on mine until mid June; that will be about 90 days from now. I think I won't see my seeds until September; hopefully when covid 19 has passed.

Yes, please be patient. A shipment to Italy is held up as well, presumably for the same reason.

Would it be possible for you to ask USPS? Normally, a shipment should be reported missing after 7 days.

All indications as of today is that both the parcel to Italy and the parcel to Germany are in their destination countries.

Hello, I have just called the post in Germany. I was told that I should contact the sender to initiate a search at the USPS. The sender must do this. Because it was over 8 weeks ago. I would therefore ask you to contact USPS and the tracking number Let search. After this time the letter should have been there, the woman said. Best regards Oliver
