I was wondering if anyone had done a tissue test on their pumpkin, and if so what the results were? I suspect >90% of the fruit is just water and carbohydrate, but like bananas are high in potassium, perhaps pumpkins are high in something too.

I was told by the western labs guy that they dont consider these tests useful. I stopped looking into it. I dont think it is a bad idea its just that the plant tissue tests are sufficiently useful or more useful. The pumpkin might be like a womb, not everything bad or skewed in the plant would show up in the pumpkin? It may not reflect imbalances as obviously as the sap? If you look up government nutritional info for cucurbits that should give ballpark quantities of Magnesium Iron Calcium Potassium etc. Trace minerals may be harder I dont think our government does Boron or Molybdenum. They might have copper. My sense is there are scientific discoveries laying right in front of us. We lack either the money and curiosity to make those discoveries.
