Part of the vine I dug up appears to have two roots coming out of each node.
Have any of your growers seen this before?

Yes, each node will root on the bottom as well as the top of the vine. Top root typically needs help, that's why you bury the vines.

Yes I agree, but in this case each node has 2 roots (they normally have only one per node) ....One root coming out of the top node and one coming out of the bottom node.
Mine has 2 off the top and 2 off the bottom.

Hey Joe, yes they often will throw multiple roots from the bottom, top and sides. I’ve had up to 6 tap roots coming from each node.
It’s a good thing, that is for sure.
