You could spray it with an herbicide. If you dislike using an herbicide it will take a little more work but it still can be done.
You can cover it with a tarp or sheet of plastic. Let it stay under the plastic for a whole growing season.
You could mulch it very thickly with wood chips or leaves. Any nettle that comes through wood need to be hoed.
You could also probably kill it by persistent mowing, keep scalping it with the mower eventually it will run out of steam.
It willl take persistence no matter which technique you try.

You could till it up and plant a very thick cover of sudan grass.
Use your imagination, there are lots of possible solutions. Choose which one works best for you.

Thanx Mr Moon;
I hav e tried roundup with 41% gloc, I have covered it up for a year with plastic

Do you know of a herbicide that can reach down to the roots and kill it?

I got them out of my garden with 1 shot of generic glyphosate (roundup) mixed at about a 2% solution. You just have to let them stand for a few days after they look dead, so it fully trans-locates to the roots. If they don't die completely with the first shot, hit them again. If you see small plants coming up, hoe them out before they get too big. I have 2 species of stinging nettles on my acreage, thicker than fleas on a dog's back in the wooded areas. They were easy to get out of the garden.

Stinging nettle that I deal with isn't that bad to get rid of. Yours sounds tougher to get rid of. Start making tea from it LOL. Mehdi from France, used Stinging nettle on his AG plants and other giants.

To kill a persistent perennial weed with herbicide, it takes several steps. The first spray is just the first step in the process. Try and spray every leaf with the herbicide. The better coverage you get the more toxin the plant absorbs. The most important step is to re-apply the herbicide again to anything that survives or re-sprouts. Some plants are very persistent and require two to three (or more applications) . (bamboo, Japanese knotweed and phragmites are some of the toughest around here and will take a year or more to successfully eliminate. If one root survives and gets ignored you will have the weed rebound and possible be worse than before. Plus you run the risk of the plant building up immunity to the herbicide.

The best time to apply herbicide to a plant with a large perennial root system is in the fall or late summer before the leaves drop. At this time of year the plants are trying to take in every last bit of energy. It really weakens them to hit them at this time. In perennial and woody plants it takes a tremendous reserve of energy for a plant to push out it's new growth in the spring. You can really whack them good, with a September Application. Success does not come from the first application, it is always with the persistent follow up.

Glyphosate should work, and you don't run the risk of volatilization damaging desired plants around the nettle . 24-d is another one, but is very volatile.

Use a spreader with your weed killer to bypass the fine hairs on stinging nettle that prevent contact

Heatstroke;
So I put some spreader in a sprayer and spray it;it will kill
