With about 40 or so days left until the weigh-off my OTT is 296. Currently feeding a blend of seedweed powder, calcium, potassium sulfate, AZOS, all in the drip water. Any suggestions/recommendations as to how to fertilize over the next 40 days?

short answer- exactly what it needs...tissue test can help determine that along with your spring soil test......if we are winging it, what’s the growth rate, how big is the plant?...the fruit?...what kind of pace is it on?...how do the leaves and vines look?..usually it’s a bloom type fertilizer this time year..your not adding phosphorous so maybe you know yours is high?.,,still need nitrogen now too...if things are working out , stick to the plan...good luck

Potassium typically seems to be what a pumpkin needs the most late in the season. I came in with high potassium in the spring. Tissue test three weeks ago showed marginally low potassium in the tissue. The roots can only get at what is right around the roots and it can fairly quickly use that up. So spoon feeding potassium I think is a good idea in most situations, but it depends on your situation.

Not sure if it is the right thing to do or not, but I'm with Big City.
