Ok so i used to just pinch them off when burring secondaries, But i now worry about letting disease into plant ? Should i burry without cutting them off ,then cut later ?

GOODLUCK with burying first letting them grow and then cut. You will have one big mess in my opinion and doing a lot of cutting on a bigger vine then nipping them off when they first appear and you are burying that vine. This hobbie is full of disappoint that could hit you at any time and many different types of disease that could hit your plant by many different ways. Work hard but at the same time enjoy the hobbie and make the hobbie easier for you rather then harder when it is not necessary. Plus I believe by nipping the third stage growth when it first appears would cause less shock to the plant rather then letting them grow for awhile and then cutting them, plus it would take more energy from the plant to grow each third stage growth to get larger rather then cutting them when they first appear!
