Hi every year at the beginning of the season I get yellow spots on my pumpkin leaves. They look like the leaves in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnhDBPVLFvw I assume they are a nutrient deficiency caused by cool temperatures. Am I correct? If it is a deficiency what is it likely to be? I have looked at the online photos and many of them look alike. thanks

It is something ive seen many times in the spring. Its not disease. Prob cool temp affecting. The plants have always acted normal later.

Sharp kid you got there! Keep that kid learning!
I personally believe you have a bit of a magnesium deficiency. Try a bit of Epsom Salts in the water next time and see if that greens them up. Do a couple image searches to confirm if you like. Cheers!

It may not be a deficiency at all. It might just be expression of the Bmax gene, which is segregating in AGs and tends to be expressed in leaves and vines during cooler weather (causes yellow splotching on leaves and yellow vine). It's normally expressed in immature ovaries and is why a lot of AGs have yellow ovaries vs green.
