Has anyone tried this as an animal repellant? Touted as the most bitter substance on earth, one tsp in an Olympic pool can be detected From the sounds of it you wouldn't want it on edible crops just due to the taste. This is used in small products to prevent children from swallowing them. It is used for many other products like nail polish and products that contain alcohol and poison. Brand name Bitrex

There could be a problem with cross contamination

I used to use that on all my fruit trees in the winter to keep the deer off of them. It worked incredibly well. Better than any current deer repellants. I wish I could still find it. They took it off the market for some reason.

Baitman are you going to mix it with a spreader sticker to get it to stick to the plant. I would imagine that this product would work very well for you, but I wouldn't plan to eat anything that it had been sprayed on. You would have to test it to see how the plants handle it and see if they are sensitive to it. The product I used to use before it was taken off the market was called "Tree Guard". I may have used it on pumpkin vine tips but I can't remember for sure.

https://www.gardeners.com/buy/tree-guard/30-977.html This was the stuff I used, best product on the market. All the rest are like salad dressing for hungry deer.

I bet if iI mixed the stuff that you found on Ebay with wilt pruf I will have re-created "Tree guard" . The question is how much bitrex to add to a gallon of wilt pruf. If you try this stuff let me know how it works for you.
